This one is in great condition and is working well!! All four of
the front panel knobs and dials are in excellent condition with clear lettering
and legends. PLEASE SEE FRONT PANEL PICTURES. The radio is clean inside and out and
includes four good tested Globe type 01A tubes. You won't find this model in this condition
very often. All of the controls work
smoothly and correctly. This radio has
been tested and is in working condition.
I was able to pick up strong local stations with only a 12 inch long
antenna however for best performance you should use a 50 to 60 foot long
outside antenna and a good ground. The wooden
case is in great shape with the typical light scratches. All four of the bottom rubber feet are
present. The top cover that is often missing on this model is original and in
excellent shape. The finish appears to
be original except the black trim paint which may have been touched up at one
time. There is a small chip on the right
front edge of the panel that has been touched up. There are no other cracks or breaks that I
can see. This is a radio that would be great
addition to any collection.
